Depuff AI Review: Is It Legit, Free, or Worth $6.99 a Week?
Depuff AI has no free plan, a $4.20 web trial that becomes $49.99 a month, and an unvalidated bloat score. What it costs, and how Debloat AI differs.

You see the before-and-after on TikTok, download Depuff AI, answer questions about sleep and habits, and take the face photo. The app feels like it is building toward a report. Then the payment screen arrives.
The problem is not that wellness apps charge. It is that a small starting price can become a subscription you never budgeted for. So: is Depuff AI real, is it free, what does it cost, and where does the photo go?
Depuff AI is a real iPhone and Android app from the US company Adam T, LLC, but it has no free plan, its 1–10 bloat and definition scores have no published validation, and the web checkout has generated repeated charge and cancellation complaints. Morning puffiness mostly moves with sleep, salt, and alcohol—changes you can make without an app.

What is Depuff AI and what does it do?
Depuff AI analyzes daily face photos, estimates facial definition and puffiness, scans meal photos for bloating potential, and offers guided routines. The developer describes five facial measurements: angularity, jawline definition, cheekbone definition, chin/neck definition, and puffiness impact. It is on the App Store and on Google Play.
The workflow is built on repetition: progress photos, water tracking, food scans, and routines involving gua sha, cold therapy, chin tucks, warm compresses, or lymphatic drainage. The store description says, “Most users see initial improvements within 7-10 days,” but supplies no source for that statement.
The app’s own disclaimer says it provides educational content, not medical advice, and is not a medical device. Persistent or painful swelling belongs with a clinician, not a selfie scanner.
Is Depuff AI legit?
Yes, in the narrow sense that it is a published, regularly updated app operated by Adam T, LLC, with a named developer website. But legitimacy is not accuracy or good checkout design. The developer says there is no free plan, and the recent written reviews look very different from the overall star histogram.
The App Store shows 15,276 ratings with a 4.76 average. In the 153 written reviews dated August 14, 2025 through October 5, 2026, 50 were one-star: 32.7% of the written sample, compared with 1.5% one-star ratings in the overall histogram.
Read complaints as complaints, not proof that every user has the same experience. One one-star review from November 22, 2025 says: “Bro I paid 4. 20 for a week and the charged me 50 at the end. They literally didn't mention it and when I tried to contact support THE EMAIL DIDNT EXIST.” Another, from December 19, 2025: “It says you can but once you click it, it sends you to stripe and you cannot cancel on stripe. Their support email is dead.”
Other users praise a clean interface and simple routines. The question is whether the subscription path is clear enough to justify handing over a face photo and card details.
We found no independent press review. This judgment rests on public store data, developer documents, and user reviews.
Is Depuff AI the same as Debloat AI?
No. Depuff AI is made by Adam T, LLC. Debloat AI – Facial Asymmetry is a separate iPhone app from Appstack Technologies, Co, with its own ratings and privacy situation.
| App | Developer | Decisive difference |
|---|---|---|
| Depuff AI | Adam T, LLC | Daily puffiness, food scans, routines; photos stored on Supabase and sent to Gemini |
| Debloat AI | Appstack Technologies, Co | Facial asymmetry and debloating routines; its privacy-policy domain did not resolve when we checked |
Adam T, LLC also makes LooksLab, a separate glow-up app. Check the developer name before paying.
What does Depuff AI cost?
Depuff AI is free to download but not free to use. Apple lists $6.99 weekly, yearly options from $19.99 to $49.99, and monthly options of $12.99 and $59.99. The web quiz sells a different set of offers, including $4.20 for the first week followed by $49.99 per month.
| Route | Listed price | Arithmetic / note |
|---|---|---|
| App Store weekly | $6.99 | $363.48/year arithmetic |
| App Store yearly | $19.99–$49.99 | Several offers listed |
| Web checkout | $4.20 first week, then $49.99/month | $554.09 first year arithmetic |
The developer’s own pricing page says setup is free, the paywall appears at the end, and “you cannot use the app without a trial or a subscription.” A third-party UX teardown places the rating prompt before the paywall and before any usable result.
The web checkout rotates other offers too, such as $24 for 12 weeks, then $59.99 every 12 weeks. Screenshot the exact screen before accepting.
There is no single universal price. Treat the renewal amount—not the introductory amount—as the real price.

Is Depuff AI accurate?
There is no published accuracy validation for Depuff AI’s 1–10 definition, jawline, puffiness, or bloating-reduction scores. The site says landmark geometry measures facial angles and separates retained fluid from underlying structure, but we found no independent study testing those claims.
Some suggestions still rest on something real. In a sleep-deprivation study, 40 observers rated photos of 10 people and saw more swollen eyes, redder eyes, darker circles, paler skin, and more hanging eyelids after sleep loss. A salt study in healthy men found higher salt intake reduced free-water clearance—body-wide water accrual, not facial puffiness specifically.
The real question is what the number can tell you. A daily image captures today’s fluid state, lighting, expression, camera distance, and angle. Puffiness is weather, not climate: the app photographs today’s weather, while the stable face people learn to recognize is the climate.
The app’s research framing also needs care. Its website cites a facial-adiposity study about perceived weight in the face, while elsewhere saying puffiness is fluid, not fat. Related-looking topics are not interchangeable validation.
We found no same-photo repeatability test, so we cannot say how stable the score is across scans.
What happens to your photos?
Depuff AI’s privacy policy says original facial photos are stored on Supabase servers, encrypted, until you delete them or your account. It says facial images are shared with Google’s Gemini AI service for core functionality and that Google does not retain them after analysis.
It also says anonymized, aggregated patterns may be used to improve its algorithms.
The platform disclosures do not line up cleanly. The App Store label lists photos as data linked to you and says identifiers, purchases, and usage data are used to track you. The Google Play Data safety section says “No data shared with third parties” and “Data can't be deleted,” while the policy says images go to Gemini and account data is deleted within 30 days. See how other apps compare in our privacy audit.
Privacy labels are developer-reported and not verified by Apple. Conflicting statements are a reason to ask the developer, not a reason to guess.
How do you cancel Depuff AI and get a refund?
It depends on where you bought it. Apple-billed plans are managed in Apple Settings; web or Stripe-billed plans cannot be canceled there. Deleting the app cancels neither, so confirm the renewal screen says canceled and save the confirmation.
For an Apple-billed subscription:
- Open Settings: Tap your name, then Subscriptions (Apple’s steps).
- Choose Depuff AI: Tap Cancel Subscription. If there is no Cancel button, it is already canceled.
- Request a refund: Use reportaproblem.apple.com, choose “I’d like to,” then “Request a refund.” Apple says to allow 24 to 48 hours for an update.
For a web subscription, use the in-app route (Settings → Manage Subscription → Cancel subscription) or email the support address shown at checkout. The developer’s documents list hello@adamt.llc and support@adamt.llc for web billing; the privacy policy lists hello@depuffai.app.
The web checkout claims a 30-day money-back guarantee if you can show you followed the program. Keep receipts and screenshots.
Apple decides Apple refunds. The web guarantee is conditional, so do not assume an introductory payment is refundable.
Is there a free alternative to Depuff AI?
Yes. For ordinary morning puffiness, start with the basics the developer itself names as free: enough sleep, less evening salt, a cool compress, and sleeping with your head slightly raised. Drinking the night before is a common culprit; our alcohol and face guide covers why.
For a broader first-impression read, our free first-impression test reads your whole first impression (face, physique, outfit). The read and breakdown are free on a free account with no card; deeper modules are $1.50 each, one-time, never a subscription. It is a perception test, not a clinical instrument.
It does a different job: it does not diagnose water retention. It adds a wider lens—facial definition matters, but so do physique, outfit, and the impression they create together.
The healthier pattern is occasional reflection, not a compulsory morning audit. Scanning every day trains your attention onto a supposed defect until normal variation feels like failure. Puffiness is weather, not climate: change the cheap, concrete inputs, then stop checking.
The bottom line
Depuff AI is a real, widely downloaded app with an appealing routine concept. But it is not free after setup, its prices vary sharply by channel, its score has no published validation, and its privacy disclosures contradict each other. The best case for paying is convenience; the worst case is treating a changing morning photo as a verdict.
Before subscribing, photograph the renewal price, check whether billing runs through Apple or the web, and decide which habit you actually want to change. If you want a broader read first, start with the free first-impression test.
