Real World Appeal — Privacy Policy
Effective / Last updated: July 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Real World Appeal ("Real World Appeal," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use realworldappeal.com and the related AI analysis service (the "Service"). Because the Service works by analyzing photos you upload, please read the sections on the nature of the data and the AI-generated, non-professional nature of our results carefully. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who We Are and How to Reach Us
Real World Appeal operates realworldappeal.com, an AI tool for men that analyzes user-uploaded photos and a short questionnaire to produce a subjective, AI-generated "first-impression attractiveness" report. For the purposes of data protection law, Real World Appeal is the data controller for the personal information described in this Policy.
You can contact us about privacy, your rights, or anything in this Policy at:
If you are in a region with a data protection authority (for example, the EU/EEA or UK) and you believe we have not handled your information properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local authority. We ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue directly.
2. Important Notice: The Nature of the Data and Our Results
Please read this section before uploading anything. It is central to understanding how your data is used and what our output does and does not mean.
3. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information, most of which you provide directly:
We do not intentionally collect more than we need to run the Service, and we do not ask for government IDs, financial account details beyond what Stripe requires, or other categories not listed above.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
5. Legal Bases for Processing (EU/EEA and UK Users)
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR/UK GDPR:
Where we process any special-category data, we rely on your explicit consent, which you provide by voluntarily uploading such photos and details for analysis. You may withdraw that consent and request deletion at any time.
6. AI Processing and Automated Analysis
The core of the Service is automated. When you request a report, your uploaded photos and questionnaire answers are transmitted to Google Gemini (via Google Cloud) for analysis, and the model returns the scores and written content that make up your report.
This is automated processing that produces an individual output about you. However, it does not produce legal or similarly significant effects: the report is an entertainment and self-improvement estimate, it does not gate access to any right, benefit, employment, credit, or service, and it is not used to make decisions about you beyond generating the report you asked for.
Because a third-party AI model performs the analysis, its outputs are subject to the accuracy, bias, and variability limitations described in Section 2. We do not control the internal workings of the model.
We instruct our AI provider to use your uploaded photos only to generate your report. Your photos are not used by us to train third-party models beyond whatever processing the AI provider inherently performs to return a result. We do not sell your photos, and we do not repurpose them for advertising.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use a small set of cookies and similar technologies, primarily first-party:
Our analytics are first-party and privacy-conscious: we record events like page views, clicks, and sessions, infer only coarse city-level location from your IP, and store a salted hash of your IP rather than the raw address. We do not use raw IP addresses for tracking, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers for cross-site behavioral advertising.
You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may break sign-in and the anonymous-test flow. Where required, we ask for consent to non-essential analytics.
8. How We Share Information and Our Sub-Processors
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers (sub-processors) who help us run the Service, and only as needed for the purposes above. Our current sub-processors and third parties include:
These providers are bound by their own terms and data-protection commitments and may process data outside your country. We may also disclose information when required by law or valid legal process, to protect our rights, safety, or property or those of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you if required and this Policy will continue to protect your information.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law.
To request access, deletion, correction, or an export of your data, email contact@realworldappeal.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting.
10. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, or a similar jurisdiction, you have the following rights, subject to legal limits:
To exercise any of these, email contact@realworldappeal.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
11. Your Privacy Rights (California — CCPA/CPRA and Other U.S. States)
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the following rights, and residents of certain other U.S. states may have comparable rights:
To make a request, email contact@realworldappeal.com. You may use an authorized agent, and we may need to verify your identity before responding.
12. International Data Transfers
The Service is operated with processing based in the United States, and several of our sub-processors are located in or process data in the United States and other countries. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data-protection laws than your own.
Where we transfer personal data out of the EU/EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards where required, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) or an adequacy decision. You can contact us at contact@realworldappeal.com for more information about the safeguards we use.
13. Eligibility and Photo Upload Rules (18+ Only)
The Service is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if we learn that a minor has provided information, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact contact@realworldappeal.com.
You may only upload photos of yourself that you have the right to use. In particular:
You are responsible for the content you upload and confirm you have the rights to it. Uploading images of other people or prohibited content violates our terms and may result in removal of content and termination of your access.
14. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, and we rely on established providers (such as Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payments, and reputable hosting and storage partners) that maintain their own security controls. Measures include encryption in transit, access controls, and storing a salted hash of your IP rather than the raw address.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
15. Intellectual Property and Your Content License
The Service — including its software, AI models and prompts, scoring systems, type frameworks, text, design, and other content we create — belongs to Real World Appeal or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
The specific report content generated for you is yours. To deliver the Service, you grant us a limited, revocable license to store and process your uploaded photos and questionnaire answers and to transmit them to our AI provider solely to generate your report. We do not use your uploaded photos to train third-party models beyond the processing the AI provider inherently performs to return your result, and we do not use them for advertising.
16. Acceptable Use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
Violations may result in suspension or termination of your access and removal of offending content.
17. Payments, Pricing, and Refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. We offer one-time per-report unlocks (approximately $10 promotional / $30 regular) and monthly subscriptions (approximately $19.90 and $49.90 tiers). Prices are indicative and may change; the price shown at checkout applies to your purchase.
Because the Service delivers digital analysis that is generated and made available immediately, all sales are final and we do not provide refunds for delivered digital analysis, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel to stop future renewals. For billing questions, contact contact@realworldappeal.com.
18. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
As emphasized throughout this Policy, the Service is for entertainment and self-improvement only. It is NOT professional advice — not medical, psychological, dermatological, fitness, nutritional, or mental-health advice — and it is not a diagnosis, treatment, or a judgment of your worth. Its outputs are subjective, probabilistic, AI-generated estimates that may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or biased, and we make no guarantee of any result. Do not make important health or personal decisions based on the Service; consult a qualified professional.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Real World Appeal and its owners, employees, and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or emotional distress, arising from your use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
19. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Real World Appeal and its owners, employees, and providers from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Service, your violation of this Policy or our terms, your violation of any law, or your uploading of content you did not have the right to upload — including images of other people, minors, or unlawful or explicit content.
20. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Policy and any dispute relating to the Service are governed by the laws of the applicable United States jurisdiction in which Real World Appeal operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Informal resolution first — before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at contact@realworldappeal.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally. Most concerns can be resolved this way.
Arbitration and class-action waiver — if we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Real World Appeal agree that disputes will be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law and except for small-claims matters. To the extent permitted by law, you and Real World Appeal waive the right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action, and disputes must be brought on an individual basis. You may have the right to opt out of arbitration as described in any separate Terms of Service; nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
21. Severability
If any provision of this Policy is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
22. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, sub-processors, or the law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
23. How to Contact Us
If you have any questions, requests, or complaints about this Privacy Policy or your personal information, or if you wish to exercise any of your rights, please contact us:
We will do our best to respond promptly and within any timeframe required by applicable law.
